Vanessa's website came up in a Google search for THAT CD SHOP (of all things). She has interesting BLOGs which she makes it a point to keep updated regularly. After looking at her website, I am also redesigning my entire website! First link's to you Vanessa!
Mark was from RI and RJC like myself, and we were in 40 SAR together. We started talking in the army actually and we kept in contact throughout our university days though we went to different places. I don't actually know where he is or what he is doing now - I don't even see him on ICQ anymore - but last I heard he is at MIT doing dunno what ... His own domain www.msky.org is down, but I left the link there just in case he decides to renew it. Mark, talk to me!
is a Computer Science graduate student finishing his Master's Thesis in NUS. He demands high'
quality sound from his computer, and is very well informed of
the latest developments in PC sound technology. His
brothers are also very much into computers - his elder brother
Teng Yeow is
doing 3D rendering (plus other services) while his younger
brother is an expert on games. He has also upgraded his system
to a Pentium II and has gotten himself a cable modem connection
(hear the adrenaline pumping as you download from FTP sites at
300KBps) but too bad he is still chugging along on a 1.7GB
Quantum Sirroco. Visit his home page: The Chua Family
Interactive Family Tree.
Damian was my classmate for two months in Junior College, before transferring to Triple Science. He has a voracious appetite for reading and you can say that he is a walking intellectual bookstore. He'll be studying Economics at' LSE later this year. His web page is very nice, you should see it.
Junior College
I have a lot of good friends from Raffles Junior College. Some are classmates, some from the Chess Club and the Chinese Society. They are all vastly different, each having his or her own special personality. They do have something in common, which is that they are all my good friends. (Note, if anyone reading this is not pleased that he or she is left out, or put in, let me know and I'll do' whatever is appropriate) We still keep in contact, having gatherings or keeping in touch by telephone and e-mail despite being burdened by our individual commitments.
Guowei, also known as Foong Kok Wai, is one of my best friends from school, being my classmate for four years. He is a quiet man, preferring to listen rather than to talk. Besides being a top student in class, he plays the guitar in school and is quite good at it. He is a person whom you can trust and turn to when you are troubled. He has a twin brother Guojing who is almost an exact look-alike.
James lives two blocks away from me and played table tennis with me during our school days. (James, if you happen to see this, please send me an e-mail.) The only thing we had in common while in school was that we were in the same school, but it did not stop us from being good friends. We became friends because we always met each other on the bus, and because he was such a nice person, it's very difficult not to develop a strong friendship' with him. He was an officer at ATC during his NS and has disrupted to study for his Business degree at Curtin University in Perth, Australia.
Weng Khin was a scholar from Ipoh who came to Singapore for his education. Currently at NTU, he is doing his second year in Civil Engineering. We share a common Cantonese background amongst our numerous similarities, thus having a lot to talk about. The army has kept me quite busy, but as I get more free time nearing ORD, I should be able to visit him more often.
I have some friends from Taiwan. There is Yang Wei Jie, my guest, and Zhang Jia Yan, my host. Hi to all to Taiwan Immersion People!

My pals in the Chinese Society are too numerous to provide detailed introductions to everyone, so I'll just list the names here and fill in the introductions' at a later date, perhaps even putting up photographs. They are (strictly in no order of importance) Derek, Guangrong, Yiyi and Yufeng.
